Today’s outperformer is AGLD, which surged 28.3% in the past 24 hours following its partnership with DeSpread Develop a Decentralized Autonomous World Ecosystem.

Adventure Gold (AGLD), launched in September 2021 with 70,170,001 tokens, is linked to the Loot NFT project on Ethereum, and it can be used for governance and in-game currency. It gained popularity partly due to support from Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin. Recently, AGLD DAO, a DAO focused on growing the Lootverse community, has formed a strategic partnership with DeSpread, a Korean Web3 & Blockchain consulting firm known for helping promising projects like Solana enter the Korean market, to build a decentralized digital world known as Autonomous World (AW). The partnership will focus on brand consulting, community building, and research to support the development of AW.

MakerDAO co-founder Rune Christensen has proposed using a fork of the Solana codebase for MakerDAO's upcoming native blockchain, "NewChain," as part of its final "Endgame" upgrade. Despite MakerDAO's long-standing association with Ethereum, Christensen believes Solana's codebase is "highly optimized" and more suitable for building an efficient blockchain. He cited Solana's technical quality, resilience, and existing forks as key reasons for his recommendation. NewChain will serve as the backend for MakerDAO's SubDAO tokenomics and governance security, while its governance token and stablecoin will continue to operate on Ethereum.
