The company uses a format similar to that of popular platforms like Amazon, Tripadvisor, Trustpilot and Yelp, whereby individuals can write reviews and choose ratings of up to five stars. Revain uses a combination of artificial intelligence (AI) and blockchain technology to analyze and record reliable reviews that cannot be manipulated. 

In addition, Revain provides two native cryptocurrency tokens, REV and RVN, with Ethereum and Tron foundations. These tokens act as an incentive for all platform users and companies to behave in an honest fashion.

The Revain platform serves both companies and consumers. It's the main space for the reviews and ratings consumers that provide as feedback. The 

 offers businesses a tool to embed reviews from the platform on their websites to use as testimonials and build a more positive brand reputation. 

Revain uses a three-tiered process to guarantee honesty and create trust in the online word-of-mouth wilderness. It starts with an artificial intelligence (AI) filtering system known as 

 (RAF), specially trained to detect insults and copied content in actual reviews, fake reviews and various forms of spam.

Once a review passes this stage, it then undergoes manual verification by a moderator, who can choose to hide the review if they find problems with it. The moderator then proceeds to publish the approved review on the decentralized blockchain ledger, and the review is permanently logged on the blockchain. If the review is edited, the 

 in the blockchain will be changed as well. This enables anyone to check the blockchain to confirm whether the review has been modified. 

Once the review is published on the blockchain, the company may proceed to read it. If the company decides to object to the review's claims, they’ll need to write a comment, which will be published alongside the review. If the company decides to dispute one or more claims made in the review, the moderators will proceed to investigate the case to uncover the truth. Moderators reserve the right to penalize any party they believe has acted dishonestly, or with malicious intent, via fines or an account suspension.

Revain has a rewards system in which users receive both RVN and REV tokens for writing high-quality reviews. The internal RVN token works only on the Revain platform, so you must convert RVN to REV in order to trade it on crypto exchanges. Companies who register with the Revain Widget determine the amount of REV rewards a user receives for posting a favorable review of at least 2,000 characters in length. 

Besides receiving rewards when your review gets accepted by a company, you can also gain REV tokens for viewing published reviews for a minimum of 30 seconds and for participating in various Revain events. 

Penalties or token-based fines in RVN tokens serve as a pain point to motivate every user to be truthful and do the right thing on the platform. For example, fines encourage review authors not to lie about companies, products and services. They also motivate companies not to dispute reviews that they know contain accurate details, however unfavorable they may be.
