SUI Surges After Upgrading Web3 Security with zkLogin's Adoption of Proof of SQL, Linea Launches 'DeFi Voyage' Campaign to Educate New Users and Offer XP Rewards

Today’s outperformer is SUI, which jumped 10.8% after zkLogin integrated Proof of SQL for Enhanced Security and Data-Driven Web3 Applications. 

Sui Network (SUI), launched in May 2023, is a layer 1, low-cost, high-speed blockchain emphasizing quick transaction finality and scalability, using the Move language. In terms of on-chain traction, SUI’s TVL has also rapidly increased, and is up about 10 times from the lows of $11 million in July 2023 to $107 million today. Recently, SUI highlighted the integration of Space and Time's Proof of SQL with zkLogin to secure and enhance Web3 applications by enabling access to verified off-chain data and computing without compromising privacy. zkLogin helps to bridge traditional web authentication with blockchain security. This allows for improved handling of private data, efficient linking of off-chain activities with on-chain transactions, and better encryption and storage of authentication tokens on SUI.

Linea, an Ethereum Layer 2 network by Consensys, initiated the 'DeFi Voyage' campaign to draw new users and educate them about decentralized finance (DeFi). The campaign encourages participants to engage with DeFi applications and covers various elements such as wallets, bridging, and yield farming. It suggests the potential for an upcoming Linea token which can be enticing for users. The campaign includes tasks like bridging ETH to Linea, which incurs gas fees and a Metamask bridging fee. In partnership with MetaMask Learn, the campaign offers a guided experience with educational content and simulations. Managed by Intract, the six-week campaign comprises tasks earning users Linea Voyage XP, a soulbond token representing their involvement in the ecosystem. Users are prompted to collect XP in a primary wallet that passes the Proof of Humanity verification. Multiple wallets can be linked to one profile for XP collection, but this action is irreversible.
