Mantle Network (MNT), launched in January 2023, is a Layer-2 scaling solution on the Ethereum blockchain, using Optimistic Rollup technology for up to 80% lower fees and 20x higher throughput. The Mantle Network has recently integrated four new protocols to enhance its functionalities, including xyfinance for bridging assets, ApeX Dex and Swapsicle DEX for trading, and Circuit Protocol for adding liquidity. Additionally, Mantle is collaborating with Okapi, a platform focused on providing authentic reviews of decentralized entities from users with verified on-chain reputations. This partnership aims to foster transparency and reliability in the web3 space.

The gaming-focused project, Immutable, has announced three new GameFi titles set to launch on its upcoming Polygon-powered Layer 2 rollup, Immutable zkEVM, before its mainnet launch early next year. The games include Sailwars, backed by Disney China and Alibaba Cloud; GensoKishi Online, a metaverse-based game collaborating with Square Enix; and Cursed Stone, a 3D open world MMORPG with upgradable NFTs. Immutable's IMX token value has increased, aligning with a general uptick in GameFi tokens. The mainnet launch for Immutable zkEVM is scheduled for the end of January.
