EigenLayer has expanded its role in Ethereum’s modular security with new integrations, as Mantle Network and ZKsync adopt EigenDA for data availability, while ZKsync also incorporates EigenLayer’s AVSs for decentralized zk proving. EigenLayer dominates Ethereum restaking with $9.4 billion in TVL, far surpassing Symbiotic’s $1 billion, partly due to the absence of slashing risks. Mantle replaces its limited MantleDA with EigenDA, improving scalability and security, while ZKsync integrates EigenDA and EigenLayer AVSs to decentralize its proving system.
